When 10.3 rolls out and we get the amazon appstore installed I wonder if we can delete it as currently it requires location permissions which I am not keen to give?

I also don't know if it means gps location or other as I usually have gps disabled so not sure of the impact.

Some countries can't use amazon just like some can't use blackberry world so that's probably why it needed it.

I think it's nothing you should be worried from. There's certain apps for certain markets that the app wants to feature them to you, that's all.

Anyway if the app will come as an Android port, which is most likely, I believe that it can be deleted

Thanks both. You are probably right on both accounts, I just hate the android model of having to accept all permissions or none it is ripe for abuse. I'm sure amazon wouldn't be doing this as their use is probably legitimate for reasons you mentioned earlier.
