Dear forum users,

Today i recieved my 2nd blackberry Q5 (the first one the battery died after 2 weeks of usage), and i'm stuck installing the os version of 10.2.0.424. I've installed it more then 5 times right now. Did a complete whipe like its adviced on some of the topics floating arround. But i cannot seem to fix this issue. The allert keeps popping up that i got to install that update.

Any of you guys know a solution to this problem?

Please update your profile to include device, carrier, and location. Makes it easier for others to help you.

Try a device reset first. (Not the same as regular Restart.)
Hold down both the Volume Up & Down keys. Ignore the screenshot popup. Keep holding them down through whatever black & white screens you see. When you see the blue startup icon, release them.

Any luck after that reboot?

Btw in your thread title you accidentally put 242 instead of 424, so I'm changing thread title to that.

Hi elite, thanks for the warm welcome.
Sorry about the version fault, i was making this topic while my bb rebooted.

I did the reboot what you've told me to do but nothing have changed.

I hooked my q5 on bb link and it told me i've got the latest version of the software. Eventho all this i'm still getting the allert.

My device is a blackberry q5.
My provider is tele2.
And i'm comming from holland.

I'm kinda bummed it's my second device in 3 weeks and nothing but troubles.
