Strangely, lately after setting an alarm, the amount of time before the alarm "goes off" is always wrong.


Attached is a screen shot of my alarm mode. The time is currently 2:16am, and I set my alarm to 7:00a. Meaning I should have 4 hours and 44 minutes before it goes off. But the screen shows 3 hours, 44mins. To only stayed happening recently. Regardless of what time I set it to, it still says I should wake up at 6a.

We'll see tomorrow when it actually wakes me up.

Looks right to me as daylight saving meant we lost an hour last night. Thought the hour to loose is between 2 and 3 am?

Sorry I never followed up. It seemed to go back to normal after a couple days. And I had tried a few restarts. Just for the sake if it, os is 10.2.1.2102

I decided to pay a bit more attention tonight while setting my alarm. It seems a little sporadic regarding when it shows the right time until the alarm will go off. Above is a screen shot at 11:51p, for an 9:00a alarm. Says 6 hours and 19 mind until it goes off. But when I drag the icon to the chosen time, it shows it correctly. See below.

This only started happening a few weeks ago. It's nothing serious, and barely an inconvenience. Just wasn't sure anyone was having a similar problem.

Maybe there is another app causing the conflict...check all apps for alarms...

I just set a second alarm and got mine to do the same thing...press the "Alarm List" button and see...problem is caused by another alarm setting in the clock app.

I feel like the default countdown might be to whichever is first in the alarm list.

I have about 10 different alarm settings. The first one for 6am. If I go to the list, ensure all are off, and turn on one for 9am, the countdown still assumes it's 6am. Hence my earlier examples.

The only way I've gotten it to recognize the difference is if I click and drag the alarm icon on the clock face to a new time. Then it will instantly recognize this new alarm time.
