Is it possible to add more 4G bands to your device? Are the bands hardware or chips or firmware?

There are so many capable members here at Crackberry that I've wondered if anyone has successfully added to their existing bands.

    The bands I want added are for Optus in Aus: 8 (900), 12 (700), 28 (700).

You cannot change the hardware. You simply cannot.
You MUST purchase a device which supports the bands you need

Nope, that's the radio hardware thing. You can never modify that. If you need to have a phone that works on those bands, get a phone that works on those bands.
