Versions of Legacy 0.16.2 does not exist for Android 4.3. There is only 0.16.1, but it is full of errors. I took version 0.16.2 for Android 4.4 and modified it for launch on Android 4.3 and connected all the regular text editing features. Install and compare.

In the app description it says 0.16.2 is for "android 4.1 or newer"?

In order to add any search engine in Kiwi it is not necessary to modify the application, this can be done using the standard procedure:

• Go to the website duckduckgo.com,
• Type a query, click search and wait for the page to load the results,
• "Three points" - "Settings" - "Search engine" - Kiwi will automatically pick up "Duckduckgo" - "Set as default".

Or do you mean to add it instead of the default search engine in order to be able to delete application data through the "Device monitor" and not to install a search engine every time?

For the first question, I did not format the memory card after flashing the device.

For the second question, after apps are installed I did launch the app but then as per instruction to close it using device manager. Then I applied the secret.

Appreciate for your recommendations.

The test version (as well as all this Kiwi beta browser) of the Kiwi Genie 75.0 browser.

• Application version - Genie 75.0,
• Display name of application - Browser Kiwi (to display at the top positions "Open with" and ease of search through "Type and Go"),
• Restored regular sliders for highlighting text and magnifying glass,
• AutoCorrect words in text input fields are connected,
• Language of translation - Russian (supplemented) / English,
• Blackberry-style icon for all devices on Blackberry 10,
• Deleted libraries (left only under armeabi-v7a),
• Compression of libraries has been removed, so (possibly) this will increase the speed of the application, reduce the load on RAM, and therefore optimize battery consumption,
• Deleted localizations (only ru.pak and en.pak are left),
• Graphics left only under xxhdpi,
• Layout of the control panel line (with right angles),

Open in the browser "chrome://flags":

Be sure to deactivate: (directly affects the performance of the browser on older versions of Android):

• #enable-gpu-rasterization - disabled (disable hardware rasterization),
• #ignore-gpu-blacklist - disabled (disable redefinition of the list of software rendering),

Activate:

• #stop-loading-in-background - enabled (disable the execution of background tabs some time after opening a new tab (except for tabs with playable content),
• #disable-background-video-track - enabled - (disable the video track while playing video in the background),

In appearance:

• #enable-chrome-modern - enable (by design),
• #enable-chrome-modern-alternate-card-layout - enabled (by design),
• #ntp-modern-layout - enabled (by design),
