Ok my CB people, I want to wipe my phone and start fresh, and the info that I need is scattered all over forums and my mind hurts just thinking of the thousands of posts that I'll need to review to get current info, so can someone please advise here?

I want to keep the original BB fb App, I want to install Cobalt, I want to have a BB10-OS that has the Android Runtime files so that if I delete an Android App, that it really gets deleted.

The first issue would be getting a BB10 OS with the original fb App and has added the, what is it, the Two files so that Android Apps can get deleted properly. From there it should be simple to install Cobalt as that hasn't changed? Right? Cobalt hasn't changed in 6 months?

Go easy on me, I'm 61 and it gets a little difficult to wrap the brain around all the many details, you'll find out someday, If you don't crash your car and kill yourself after a night of debauchery and massive infusions of illegal chemicals!

So, what is the current situation with all this please?

Assuming you're on 10.3.2, once you do a security wipe you should get an older version of the Facebook app back (just remember not to update it). Regarding the runtime, it might be easier to apply BlackBerry's fix,

All OS autoloaders currently out there have the old Facebook app.

Use 10.3.2.2813, or 10.3.2.2876. If you choose the latter, you will need to update the Runtime in BBW to fix the delete bug.

Nice, I've downloaded the Auto-Loaders for Passport and Z30. The BB Runtime for Android is downloaded awhile back, is BB RT for And. the same files as these two bar files which I also have, sys.android.shell-10.3.2.231 and sys.android-10.3.2.bar?

So, do autoload 2876, (does it matter if it does an OTA UpDate after autoload and then during the phone set up process?), then get the runtime installed, then install Cobalt files, and then I'll be where I want to be?
