Everything I need seems to be in (or should logically come one day). The only thing that makes me hesitate is the unavailability of the input in the language I want.

What ever it does it needs to connect people, whether skype or SMS or BBM or all of the above, the demand I hear from my kids (all have a playbook) is they want to connect with their friends (most of whom have iPiddle). Granted BB isn't for kids, but hey when you hook children as they learn you often get them for life, apples have been hitting schools for years and that approach is carrying them today, so RIM needs to either compete there or provide a bridge into those other ecosystems. If people who work and travel with BB can't connect to a home base who utilize Apple or Android then it seems to me that will kills some sales? So what apps do I want, anything that is voip based, preferably BBM desktop (Skype needs a competitor), and/or BBM for iOS and Android (light versions), SMS to BBM bridge or integration (wifi enabled for the Playbook), netflix would be nice.

My Sonos controller on my Z10 works great. I see the Tiggit Sonos controller for PlayBook in the apps without reviews at $14.99. I'm running OS 2.1 (still waiting for 10) and wondering about the investment. Any advice? Thanks.

For me I definitely need BOA. Instagram and vonage would be nice. All else is covered with apps bb10 has already.

Kobo is the most important one, although it is most definitely a want rather than a need. I've never really had an app be a deal breaker; that's probably a leftover from my legacy BlackBerry phones.
