So I updated my Passport to .2836 and it hasn't been too great an experience. It didn't resolve the "haunted typing " issue I've been having (phone replaces real words with unrelated ones or nonsense) and my phone no longer runs as smoothly as it was when I was on .2474, which was what I was running before. More annoying still, I woke up this morning to a dead battery even though I haven't really been on my phone since the update.

Anyone else having this senseless battery drain issue? My Passport always lasts at least two days with regular use, and three with light.

I had a similar problem. When I was on WiFi, the battery drained like hell...

    My recommendation:
Let the update settle for a while.
Then I'd do a soft reset (press both the volume up and down buttons for a while). That should fix it...

Report back if the problem stays!

Restart the phone use it for a few days and keep restarting it...once the software fully optimizes it should be fine. You won't have any issues.

Thanks, battery drain seems to have normalized but my phone also seems confused as to when it was last charged. Hopefully a few more days will do the trick.
