just wondering if anyone has compared the camera performance between the two OS's.

specifically the focus locking during video. seems to be missing in 1925.

any other features that would make me want to sideload the camera bar or the whole OS?

1925 is working well for me except the camera blows.

Focus lock and light metering are both back and working with 10.2.1.2141. Worth the upgrade amongst the many other little improvements.

One of my favorites is the ability to specify image compression (Original, medium, small) for e-mail picture attachments. Don't know if it was there all along, but I hadn't noticed it.

The 2141 leak has better performance, battery and signal. May be a good reason to update May also have improved camera performance because of above said FACT.

just loaded 2141......video focus lock is still missing......oh well....will wait for future leaks with improved camera files.

I'm still having better luck with the .1295 camera. Both my buddy and I went to Epcot last week and took pictures around the park. Both of us had the Z10 with .1925, but I had the .1295 camera side loaded on mine. We compared our photos and mine just seemed more clear and consistent. And the face detection feature has been a huge plus for me too. Hopefully they bring that back with all the other new features in a future build.

This could be down to many different factors, the operator and a dirty lens to name but a couple.

the fix is to downgrade the os to the earlier versions or sideload the camera file.

I did sideload the bar file from 1055 or later I dont remember which OS and still didnt work

I think my camera got damaged?

For me focus lock works for taking pictures, but not recording video on my z10.

Just tested, and you are correct.
Once recording in video mode the focus is locked, if you need to refocus on an object or scene while recording just move the focus box and the picture will adjust.
