I already have a Z30 for over a year and loving it. so I bought a brand new (boxing week promo) Z30 for my wife. the question is I have several paid apps in my Z30 and can I download those paid apps free of charge if I use the same blackberry id to set up my wife's z30? (its brand new and i haven't set up yet)
I know this is possible with apple id in Iphones, ipads, ipods etc...
if someone can answer my questions would be great.

No, one BBID per phone, to prevent just such activity.

It is possible to use the same BlackBerry ID in both devices and download the paid apps to both. However, your wife will not be able to use BBM using the same ID since BBM only runs on one device at a time with the same ID.

Yes you can use the same bbid on two devices but you can only have one active bbm on one phone

Can she create a new BBM id or the BB id used to set up the phone would be the default BBM id?

Only 1 BBM per bbid, period, at least at this point in time. I have a Z10 and Z30, both with the same bbid, apps are loaded on both, just can't open BBM on the secondary phone or it will move BBM to it.

The bbid set on the phone is the bbid used by bbm. If you need separate bbm, then you need separate bbid.

It's not stealing. They're married and live together. The only thing stolen is his freedom.

That said, both Amazon and Apple have family sharing accounts.

One paid app per customer, just like a theater ticket, ball game, or any cellular service. What the heck is wrong with some people?!?

I'm not one to judge, but using the same bbid just to avoid paying for apps twice is kinda lame, unless you are on android or ios, then it's perfectly fine since they let you do that and what is this movie ticket you speak of? I thought the Internet was created so we could watch free movies.
