Dont you guys ever want to be surprised.Like when we got the L gesture in hub. That was a nice finger to apple for copying the back swipe. If we get that L gesture all over the OS even better.

    Enjoy some surprises.

    Awnnn thats nice... a surprise!!!...
    Meh...

Ironic mode off: No dude, its late for THIS kinda surprises, mostly when BB10 already come with a bunch of surprises (horrible ones, btw) you know what? I'd like to change the "surprise" for "a full complete and non eternal beta testing OS experience" once and for all.
And please, dont misunderstand, Im not talking about improvements, Im talking about must-have features right out of the box.

Totally in for panoramic mode.....the apps that are out there now just don't seem to work that well.

yea that's what I'm waiting for too.
I love the idea of "360 Panorama" in fact it's something that's unique to BB10. It just doesn't work very well
With Built-in Panorama I think things will be a lot better.

Hats off to the BlackBerry engineers. They seem to be working like mad dogs on OS 10.2. This is way more than I even imagined would be in 10.2. If this all pans out to be in 10.2 they will definitely catch up fully to the other OS' and even surpass them on some areas.

    Posted via CB10
If you think 10.2 is great, imagine what they have planned for 10.3 lol

You have to understand that some builds are intended for different audiences: carriers, devs, Vivek+Thorsten Crew, etc. and that when working with some 3rd parties, they don't want to reveal too much. It could be that we don't always have access to the most interesting builds or simply that it won't be coming to current devices...

As well as extra modes they'd do well to correct the unnatural over saturated colour reproduction of the current camera, especially greens.

Or at least the option to adjust colour saturation like you get on more sophisticated cameras found on Nokias for example... Having said that why stop there, lets do the full trip and match Nokia function for function, you know actually compete with the competition, adjustable image size, self timer, white balance, exposure compensation, ISO, contrast, sharpness, landscape, macro and custom settings profiles, focus lock coud be a useful addition too and if that level of user option and control makes your head spin you can stay in the "auto" comfort zone.

But until then BlackBerry can "pioneer" functionality that has been around on other platforms for years

Slow motion and panorama are probably Z30 only or they've been pushed back to 10.2.1.
We should ask some Z30 testers.
Face focus and low light should be available in 10.2.

Face focus is available in the 10.2.1 beta but if you're not up for the leak you can always just side load the new camera bar

I don't really care about face focus as my kids move too quickly but slow mo would be very handy.

A supposed high end phone for 2013 (the Z10) won't even be getting features available in 2011/2012 phones? A way to royaly screw BlackBerry fans who supported them with buying Z10 (maybe even Q10).

I remember reading that the camera for the z30 will be upgraded perhaps with a better sensor so no, the z10 won't be able to get all the same features. Again, it's just what I read somewhere on this site before, I've no personal hands-on knowledge on this.

    My 2 biggest camera grapes:

    1. Often takes unwanted pictures due to the screen sensitivity.

    2. No option to adjust the sensitivity so pictures often come out with incorrect exposure. Most cameras have a mode where you can select different settings like multi focus or point the camera towards the object of main interest, hold down the focus button while moving the camera to the full scene you want and take the picture with the preselected focus.

I think these issues are more important than adding new "trick" options.
