    Hi.

    I had 1259 leak previously which allowed me to get by my day easily.

    Now, with new leak I get a significantly lower battery life.

    I have full bars of coverage, with 3G sign changing to H+.

    What I noticed, PIM services initially are at 1%, and it rises up to 6-7 percent. I think this is an issue.

    Screen set to 25%.
    All my accounts (Gmail) are set to sync every 24hrs.
    Have one email account, one contacts, calendar, twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

    Hoever now I need to charge my phone in middle if day...as it drops to 35%

    1925 battery life - PIM services is the issue?-img_20140115_143931.png

    I use 10.2.1.1925 leak and 1926(?) radio.
    Nfc and locations are off, wifi is on allways.

    Any solution?

    Only started having serious battery drain after I installed the 1926 radio.

    Going to watch it until the weekend, after which I'll revert to 1829 radio which gave me awesome battery life, if there isn't any sign of improvement.

    Yes Radio file may get your drain issue.
    Check the first post of 1925 leaks thread, and pick up the autoloader for your model.

    Attention, choose the radio only file.

    That's not a destructive process as it will just change your Radio file then reboot.

    just to be sure - is it a common issue that 1926 drain while 1899 - not.. as there are contradictory messages :/

    I'm thinking that the high battery may be related to android apps. Does everyone here have android apps on their phones?

    I am using task manager and I see that android apps are always running in the background even after have shut them down. Must be related to notifications for these apps.

    When I actively stop the android apps I see "system" cpu usage drop considerably

    I just reverted to the 1899 radio that came with the 1925 OS as the 1926 seemed to be a battery drainer. I will see how it is now.

    I have a Mugen 3800Mah battery too that should last 2-3 days but was going just over 1 day with the 1926 radio. Also I would charge it up at night then it would be at 98% when powered off. Turned it on this morning and it dropped to 56%....I mean WTF. So I will see how this radio is also and then try some other things as well. I know the OS does not report extended batteries properly as with this one I can sit on 0% for probably 6 hours before it actually shuts off!

    I too experience the same battery life issues. I get less than 8 hours before I'm under 20%. Either with the .1899 or .1926 radios. I looked for the .1829 that is mentioned but I don't see it under the .1925 leak thread. Wondering if the radio that was released with the one of the earlier 10.2.1 leaks are available for download install.

    Addressing the Android apps question... yes I do have several Droid apps loaded, but they are not actively running

    It sort of like we have at least 2 kinds of leaked versions.
    If for one you get bad network reception/transmission (and then biig battery consumption), you must try the other kind of radio.

    Of course there are still users here and there with poor coverage for its carrier (unfortunatly) but that not related to the part of the software that handle network DATA.

    For example in my case (and for frenchies then), the best for our networks is the .1899 Radio.
    (The .1926 Radio have very poor performances here).

    And to test the .1926 radio performance, I just had to execute the autoloader on my .1925 OS et voil!
    After 2 days of experimentations (obvious from day 1 but still) I was very happy to reload a .1899 radio autoloader, and there I did back to initial performances.

    Hope my frenglish was understanble

    I have great battery life with 1925 os and 1899 radio but horrible data speeds. I cant log into my wifi network and streaming a video is a nightmare. Don't know if I should update to 1925 on stl-100-1. Don't want my battery life to change from how it is now but cannot deal with my internet connectivity issue. I don't have too many complaints on the call quality front.

    Are the link on OP of 1925 thread broken?

    Yes to make you sure understood it.
    You will see some saying 1899 perform better for their network where other says the oposite.

    If 1926 radio perform badly for your network, you have good chance that .1899 performs better.

    this is just me troubleshooting (im not a pro like you guys) but, is 1899 not the default radio that comes with the 1925 os leak? maybe if you reload that on (if you haven't already) you'll automatically have the 1899 radio.

    idk, just a thought :/

    No you need that 1899 radio only for Z-2/3/4/5.
    Or if you know about Sachesi, go visit Thurask Radio archives thread (he archived all versions).

    Attention, if you go this way you will have to build your own autoloader from Sachesi and the file shared on Thurask's thread.

    (you should find plenty thread about it...)

    I feel your pain.
    So today, I :
    1) backed up;
    2) wiped the device;
    3) installed 10.2.1.1259 leak;
    4) installed 10.2.1.1925 leak which by default comes with 1899 radio
    5) restored.

    In my experience, 1259 leak had fantastic battery life! But it had few small minor bugs.
    People say that 1925 is even better, but 1926 radio just sux. Therefore will try 1925 with 1899 radio.

    If this will be cr@p again, will revert to 1259.
