Hi @ all who complains about device monitor in 10.3.1.11xx:

It is not or was never broken!
The only thing ? changed was that it was not running in background!

If you leave it as active frame you are good to go and it works perfectly!

Plug your device to power with the original charger. When it's fully charged reboot it holding vol+ and vol- buttons together for few seconds or holding the power button for 30 or more seconds for STL100-1 with the charger still plugged in. Then you're good

    Z10STL100-1/10.3.1.1151

EDIT: that was a typo... autocorrect changed power to poverty...lol

Totaly wrong mad nonsense. Nothing fixed is that way.
A few leaks Device monitor have bug: backend/background part for collect values not started after boot. But launch GUI start this backend part and from THIS moment (start GUI) values are right.
Workaround is simple: after each boot launch Device monitor GUI.. then close it. Simple - black magic not needed..
BTW hold both volume buttons is same as removing battery. Not special "reset". Only one way to hard power off for phones with nonremovable battery.

If you after boot eagerly launch Device monitor GUI, backend is started and looks as fixed. NO.
Give it a try simply test before writing... :
    - in low battery do restart. DON'T launch GUI after that.
    - charge phone to full without launch GUI.
    - remove charger and after few minutes (10) launch Device monitor GUI.
You got horizonatal line in low battery value with current high battery value under graph.
Simply because graph got last value stored by backend. And because backend not automatically started after boot, no values was stored in time of charge - graph got wrong last low value.
If you launch Device monitor GUI after boot, this start backend - fix-workaround.
You only not know one - still you have this bug..

I think you are correct. It appears the only remedy is to sideload the bar the other poster suggested. Tnx though

I have not had any issues with the Device Monitor. When I have gotten a horizontal line I checked the time base on the bottom of the graph. It only shows a few minutes since the charger was unplugged. I would expect this as the default is Since Last Charge. To see how my past battery drain looks I use the drop-down at the top to change the time base. As for the Battery Time Remaining, I would expect that a prediction would not be made until enough data points have been collected. The start of collecting data most likely is when the last charge was stopped, charger unplugged. Please check and see if what I have mentioned here might be what is happening.

Not, connect/unplug charger do nothing with non-running Device monitor backend. In time between boot and launch GUI you may connect/unplug charger as you want - without runing backend phone know nothing about this and shou you in graf time from last charge before reboot. Try it.
