Don't like it at all. It looks like BlackBerry has gone backwards instead of forward in UI design. Flat, monotone and boring is not my idea of beautiful and useful UI design.

You just have seen the unpolished sdk and leak wait for it to hit .15xx build then you will definitely like it I bet if you are a BlackBerry 10 fan

You seem to be misunderstanding me. I don't like flat UI elements; None of them, not from BlackBerry, not from Microsoft, not from Apple. The flat UI design languages are boring, un-intuitive, jarring, and incredibly lazy from an ascetic point of view. It's not surprising at all that so many people have the exact same reaction when first presented with these types of design and ask if they were drawn by a child using crayons.

If BlackBerry continues the use of this flat design language, I would still consider it hideous and still despise it even when BlackBerry releases 10.5 or BB11. It's simply a matter of taste, and this isn't my cup of tea. So from now on, I'll be heavily advocating that BlackBerry provide us with an extensive theming engine so that those of us that do not want to look these monotone colored, one dimensional UI designs and icons may be able to apply a complete them and make every single aspect look as we so choose. Then those of us that actually like the 10.2.1 design and UI elements may be able to further improve it on our own without having to devolve into what poor and lazy UI/UX design has now become.

In my opinion 10.3 will bring the os on par with the like of IOS and Android. The os is already very polished in its infancy. Two minor additional updates to two of the design elements would be nice.

    1. Dark theme'd everything! I love the way white text looks on a black background. For me it is easier to read and less overwhelming in a dimly lit room. R really puts the " black " in BlackBerry.

    2. I think the 10.3 icons look great. Although I feel it would be nice to see unity amongst them. From what we see right now. They are all very diverse. Ranging from circles, boxes, speech bubbles, etc. At this point the seem father "googly ". Also if it is done wrong the icons could resemble IOS too much. Before what diversified these from those of the others were the gradient grey boxes. I didn't like the boxes as much as the next person. Although it was an element that did set BB10 apart from the rest. With a little open minded thinking and some serious scrutiny. The design team could come up with an icon design that screams BlackBerry. Something simple and professional. But delightful to eye.

For me those small details could make for a killer experience. All of whom have "dusted" BB10 of their shoulders and denied the os their time have simply missed out on experiencing an amazing is in its infancy. As BB10 matures more will notice it and more will swoon to its ability to get the job done.

I love it! Name your icon set?

I will put this on my GT-P1000 and it shall match my Q5 on 10.3!

Looks much better on device than in screen caps, but still, not my cup of tea.
BBRY design team has gone on design spree and they will need some time to realign design elements. Some parts of UI are flatter, but some are over-designed like new action menus for an example. Also, they mashed colors badly - Blue, Black, White, Gray, Green, without some specific order...
