I just watched a couple videos on 10.3.1, I know they are reviewing recent leaks, but none showed anything about the screen automatically lighting up when a notification comes in. A while back I had asked about this and I think someone said it is supposed to do that. They showed a 'lift to wake' feature, but hoping the screen will just light up like IOS and Android do, anyone know about this?
    Thanks!

cool, does it show each notification or does it just show an indicator with a number making you have to click the icon to see a preview?

Are you talking about lift to wake or notification to wake?

On lift to wake, when you lift the phone, it asks for the password... or goes to your previous screen (where you left off)

Notification to wake, it shows exactly what you would see on the lock screen notification.

So like the left, not the right? (meaning even though it lights up, you still have to pick up the phone and click to really see what came in?)

It's like on the right... you see one line of the message.

But you can also have it to hide the message and show only the name of the sender

OK, very cool then. That's the ONE thing I was hoping for with 10.3, to just be able to glance at my phone sitting there and see a preview without having to open anything just like androids and ios does, cool. Thanks!
