Shouldn't security updates be prioritized, rather than left to stagnate?
What evidence do you have that it isn't?

Looks like after next earnings call end of Sept and with positive results BlackBerry will give us 10.3.3 but remember security and Ps if you have items such google play store working will most likely have to Re install again!

It is very strange that no official statement so far as to why no BB10 Os update yet when they announced it for August release.. very quiet..silence from BlackBerry..

Seven months to go, at least by March it should not interfere with the Intern's finals.

Oh their just waiting to see how many people will switch to an Android BlackBerry before they dump the BB10 OS phones. And announce that BB10 isn't being supported any longer.

Because if they came out and said we're not supporting BB10 any longer before getting the majority to switch to Android BlackBerry. What do you think the chance is that someone will go from BB10 to their Android BlackBerry?

    Slim to none.

March 2017 is the push dates. Internal documents. And some sort of write down about tax and finance.

Does that mean the accounts are now also doing BB10 support pack coding in their spare time?

It's truly become beyond comical that they haven't communicated about missing their self-imposed date.

I wouldn't have even taken your comment seriously, had it not been for my previous PlayBook experience lol

But why March 2017? The update is 99.9% finished and the remaining 0.1% is easy and ready to be finished. It would be very, very strange to postpone it for such a long time then.

Or are those documents talking about carrier rollout? 'Cause that I believe, carriers always take longer to roll out updates.

Wow, this is somewhat disappointing, but this OS is not going anywhere from what we can see. The focus is on Android....

Slow and painful death...even if they come out with 10.3.3 or 4...this is pretty much done...

    :-(

Seems 10.3.3 is being tested internally as an answer from BlackBerry on betazone that was posted here in a thread.
BlackBerry is selling the Leap and Passport aimed at companies and with security update 10.3.3 will continue doing so. Now if on earnings call 28 Sept they post positive results for devices who knows what can happen!
