I found another minor issue. When you are not in the Hub, you get a notification at the top of the screen when you get a new message which is great. If you touch it, it opens the message. You can then tap the back arrow which takes you to the main Hub view. However, the message that you just read does not automatically give you the delete option (garbage can on the right) which does occur if you select a new message to read when you are in the Hub and then tap the back arrow.

Just got the first "the SIM card is from an unknown source" message after doing a routine battery swap. I did a volume up and down soft reset and the message went away.

I've had the update for a while now (unlocked shop blackberry Passport) and have noticed problems with it I NEVER a had before.
    1. Double typing issue--first time encountering this was this update, very annoying.
    2. Random reboots (usually in the middle of the night, as when I wake up, my phone is off of bedside mode and on regular lock mode, but if I look at my notification indicator, it says I'm on bedside mode (not normally a cycling choice for me)
    3. Battery drain happening with every single use. Passport used to be best battery for me, lasting close to 2 full days of constant use.. Now, dropping battery time very quickly.

I've been having a horrible battery drain with 10.3.2.226/10.3.2.2339 as well.. I've had it since the official release a few weeks ago (unlocked shopblackberry passport). Used to be my battery would last close to 2 days with mod-heavy use, now I'm lucky to make it even one day. In the past hour alone, it has dropped about 13% from a full charge (I have not used it during this time). I took screenshots of my batt stats, and I'm not crazy: it dropped overnight from 35% to 8%, while it was on bedside mode and I was sleeping! Same thing the night before. Anyone have any suggestions on what's causing this? The item that seems to be using the most resources for me is 'system standby.' At 100% charge, it estimates I have 13 hrs batt life left when you can see the average life is normally around 28 hours. I even looked at the last 48 hrs and it appears the biggest and quickest drain is when I'm sleeping and it's on bedside mode!
    Since last charge:

And an hour later, WITHOUT using phone at all (yes, hot along right side)

By the way, just writing this post dropped my battery from 87 to 83%.

Your 'System' seems to be averaging high. On my Classic it stays 6 - 4% after watching for a few seconds. I use this to gauge when I may need to do a restart. If I see it staying above 6% consistently, I give it a restart, which is usually about once a week.
If you do a restart / reset and it doesn't go as low as mine after it settles from loading hub, etc then as suggested above something didn't go right with the upgrade.

I will check and let you know if it continues. Yesterday am, it was restarted because it was completely dead. One thing I did notice was that one of my emails (my outlook 360/EAS) wasn't allowing me to look into my remote folders (this has been the case for a short while, not sure if it was with the upgrade or not, I only noticed it maybe last week when I was searching something) and, while it was supposed to be synced with only a few folders, they weren't showing up in my dropdown list (and emails I'd moved to those that were NOT supposed to be synced were still in my hub and not showing they'd been filed (even though they were on the server). To get rid of this, I removed the account and re-added it, then did a restart (because although email account was removed from my accounts page, it was still showing in hub). While it was syncing emails, I left it predominately on charger. It's been off the charger since about 5:30, phone is cold now, and since 530, there hasn't been a noticeable drop in battery (lowest it went during the day was about 12%, when I was at lunch, but it was still syncing my emails). Now, you can see it's at 33%, and shows 8 hrs left, as opposed to earlier today when it showed 63% and 3 hrs left.
Hopefully, the offending email account was the issue!

I have tested a couple of searches in my hub and it seems fast.
My issue since updating the OS, my videos don't flip to landscape when I turn my phone....when I use the native video player (File Player). Other players work fine with the same video.

It's quite unfathomable that whatever happened to that email account caused this battery drain headache...
No issues with batt drain since deleting and re-installing it yesterday... and projected battery life is more like what I was used to seeing.

So I have a problem that seems to be related to the OS. A couple days ago, BlackBerry Link and BlackBerry blend would no longer accept my BlackBerry id. They both say I don't have a BlackBerry 10 devices associated with my Id. I thought this might be a server issue with BlackBerry. BlackBerry told me to contact my carrier, Telus, who is giving me the runaround. However Telus was able to check my BlackBerry id which reported back as "Temporarily unavailable". Yet if I log in to BlackBerry Protect, it shows my Z10.

As far as I can tell, it seems this release isn't reporting correctly that my device is a BlackBerry 10 device.

I noticed some Android apps always seem to be running when I check with Task Manager. Usually Amazon store and Skype. I had this problem once before, but it went away with the previous upgrade. Worry it is zapping some battery power.

I have also noticed a calendar issue. I have mine synced with my work Outlook via EAS. If I change the start and finish times/dates for an event on my calendar on my computer after getting a reminder, the reminder still keeps coming up on my BlackBerry but with however many hours until it comes. For example, I had a phone call scheduled for 10-11 am. The reminder popped up on both my computer and phone. I decided to move it to 1-2 pm today. However, the reminder on my BlackBerry keeps triggering and says the event is 3 hours away.

So I convinced my carrier to make a BlackBerry ticket regarding my problem with my BlackBerry ID. They told me to turn off BlackBerry Protect and do a security wipe. And it solved that problem plus a few other minor issues I was having. They think something happened during the upgrade with my BlackBerry ID due to the new security feature in Protect.

So this goes to show, all the people that recommend to wipe your device before you install an OS, it really can make a difference. Even my battery life is better now.

Has anyone figured out why the numbering scheme took such a huge jump? I mean we went from the 800s to 2000s. Yet they are still doing upgrades in the 800 range. Given the amount of complaints for the 2000 series, you have to wonder if they are meant for public consumption.

Hopefully I'm not asking a question that was already answered, but the search feature isn't finding an answer.
