Several issues with the update on my Bell Q10. Sad to say but i'm not impressed.

If anyone had told those keen on the update, those that "wanted it now", "wanted it yesterday, last year" etc., would you have believed if anyone had told us this was gonna happen? Would you have preferred to have it now with bugs or waited another month?

Would some additional testing have been a good thing? Yep.

More attention where? Here? By blackberry? Blogs? Hopefully blackberry is fixing it and will have it out faster than soon. Been too long now but they have always been slow.

This only affects the Z30. No rollback plan at this time. The issues found are as follows:

1. Mobile Network radio provides only SOS coverage and battery will not charge after updating to BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.1
2. BlackBerry screen displays fast flickering
3. Unable to upgrade to BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.1 due to insufficient space
4. Screen appears blank or black and will not power on after software update
5. After upgrading to 10.3.1 the volume for notifications is noticed to be significantly lower than in the previous version
6. All data is deleted following a manual restart of the BlackBerry Smartphone, a blue LED is displayed during boot up
7. After updating to BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.1, screen rotation is not working
8. Unable to boot past 98% or 99% after upgrading to BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.1
9. Adobe Flash support is not included in BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.1 Browser

The tech is a CrackBerry member right?

My Telus Z30 has the 10.3.1 and I haven't had a single issue.

Obviously best to backup phone asap, then will a full wipe and install using link help?

Now it all makes sense! I was trying anything I could to get the volume notification back to normal. Link was only offering 10.2.1.

I downloaded .1581 from the archive and reloaded it but still have the low notification issue.

I wonder when the next update will be released?

There should at least be an article about this on the main page of CrackBerry.

BlackBerry needs to at least issue a statement on their website.

I had the Videos issue on my Z10 after upgrading to 10.3.1 there's a very simple solution for that problem:

Just tap on the button in the bottom left and choose any one of the other options. Then the videos will play. If you go back to the first setting it will still play and the problem will be sorted out. I don't know why its happening but I had the same thing.
