They've taken their bloody time with this one, I'm not one to get impatient but come on... seriously. I'm not sure whether I want to buy a passport or not and have been waiting to try out 10.3 before I make my choice.

The company is garbage. No sense of urgency. They've been the fat girl at the club (metaphorically) for the past 5 years. You would think this would give them more then sufficient time to get their stuff together and have not only the passport / classic / Q10 all pushed out with the same software, but 5 generations of phones already produced. I should just buy more shares and become a majority shareholder and run the damn organization myself

But seriously, last I heard them announce was simply "later this year". So as long as it's this month, then I don't think there's an issue.

I think even die hard Blackberry fans are starting to get a little fed up with this slow release of 10.3.1.

It is frustrating to see new phones release with 10.3 on and yet loyal users with Z10s, Z30s, etc, and just left dangling like they don't matter.

When have Apple ever released a new phone and then told existing users they'll have to wait for an unspecified amount of time before they can have the benefits of this new OS.

I was willing to give Blackberry the benefit of the doubt, but now, they just seem to be forgetting and ignoring all the existing BB10 device owners who are keen to upgrade. This is NOT the way to win friends influence people.

And before people start to say it is better to make sure it is right first - I agree totally - but they have had more than enough time now to get it right and if it is going to take until Q1 2015 to get it right then it just looks incompetent.

Blackberry need to be keeping those loyal early adopters sweet - not annoying them by constant delays and news blackouts regarding the release of a new OS. Don't show off it's features if it ain't ready!!!

I won't ever understand why they didn't involve the current BlackBerry 10 customers in the promotion of the new stuff by giving us the change to test and live it up. They, instead, put us aside. We are supposed to have received the update at the passport launching in order to run the rumors and let others to see what's going on with BlackBerry. Now brand new customers are enjoying the novelties. Very ironic.

I have to agree, it's a complete dismissal of the users who have been loyal and have essentially been supporting the company.

The company also fails to understand that by having 10.2.1 on older devices, they are missing marketing opportunities from users who are showing others 10.2.1 instead of new features on 10.3.1

Slow to execute as always, sometimes it makes you think blackberry deserves the hate. They continue to alienate various stakeholders.

I have been stating the sentiment of all of you for months now,
as we know and see all that Blackberry cares about doing is "churning and burning". They do not care about the loyal following. Customer service is non existent and sucks. My brother in law had a problem with his 3 month old Iphone, walked into an Apple store and the sales rep told him "stop talking" as he was explain what was going on, and brought him a new one and said here you go sir.
Blackberry call them because they won't invest in stores.
response " you have to pay us first before we talk to you".
that people is called bull****.
