    Hi all,

I am on 10.3.0 with my passport and today I came across a BlackBerry classic review and notice it is running on 10.3.1 so I am just wondering if it is officially available for the passport yet?

Also, I was using a window phone for a couple of months after I sold my q10 and z10 to get ready to buy the passport and I signed up with the "developer preview app" basically it will allow me to get the preview os as soon as it is available for the developer and loved it because I don't have to wait for the network to push it out for me and always 1st to test the os officially.

So, I am thinking it would be nice if BlackBerry does the same so I don't have to wait for my network to update my BlackBerry os which my UK network Giffgaff isn't the best doing this a couple I have to borrow my friend's sim to update my BlackBerry os.

What do you guys thoughts on this preview idea? Is there something similar with BlackBerry?

BlackBerry already does this even since PlayBook OS and even earlier than Microsoft

So I can just sign up and get update when it is available for developers. Do I need any skills set or just anyone can sign up and get the os update ?

    Cheers for the link

The preview developer OS is for the simulator. There is no app with it. What you want is a Leaked beta OS. I advise you to wait for the official 10.3.1 release next month, but if you really want to test the early bugs, go to the BB10 Leaked/Beta OS forum.

Is the 10.3.1 official yet for the passport? BlackBerry should have the developer preview like windo-img_20150112_190918.png

the windows isn't an app per se it is just an app i had to download then sign up tothe "developer preview" programme in order to get the preview to push to my phone when it was release.

is it the same with this below?? if it is should I do that on my passport download on to my PC? any guide for that please?

Again, you don't want to use that. It's an OS for developer, striped from all apps, just for application testing purpose.

If you want a leaked version of the 10.3.1 OS, go to the BB10 Leaked/Beta OS forum. I suggest you wait for the official release, it will be in weeks from now (not months).
