Well, I know for many this is just some bogus thread but I'm sure there are many passionate BlackBerry users as well who might understand my sentiments here. I don't know how many of you remember this small thing from 10.2 OS but I have attached a picture (of 10.3.1 UI of course) just so that you all can be reminded of what exactly I'm talking about - you see that red circled portion? Currently we see three lines but in 10.2 we actually had a text icon there, if we opened up say BBM in the HUB then we had BBM icon there but now we just have the three lines, which is kinda boring. Now it would be great, if we get that back, it looks really great and somehow makes the HUB look stylish. Plus there are many other things but then this is something I feel is small and easy for BlackBerry to again give that back to us. Here's the picture!

Ok, for the two previous posters, I'll quote the OP.

    Wait, I'll do it again.

    There you go. You're welcome.

I agree with OP, it never struck me but it's true that the little things count most. An all-the-way good-looking OS is important.

I think the HUB has bigger issues than the little icon no one pays attention to. For instance, a simple task like loading SMS/MMS when opening a long conversation!! We get a blank screen for a couple of seconds before the threading actually appears. Fix the lagggggggg.

I get it, OP. OTOH, the three line thingy indicates it's a menu. Maybe not so obvious if it was great Text or BBM icon.

Besides, it's not like it doesn't say Text or BBM in big letters at the top.

Why to make it obvious everytime? Many of my friend loved that. Of course it's not a feature but at least the HUB looked great. Just look the HUB right now. It's so simple and basic!

Unified user interface. The best OSs provide a common look and feel across all applications. This makes the device more efficient for most people to use, which is one of the reasons I prefer BlackBerry to the competition, and one of the reasons I don't often use non-compliant applications.
