Yep, so for some reason that radio isn't signed. Blackberry forgot to sign it or something. Sucks
You can flash radios non-destructively using an autoloader though.
If you create an autoloader from that radio and flash just that radio, you won't lose anything. It's always an option. You could non-destructively upgrade everything else first.

By the way, from what I've heard OS 800/Radio 801 doesn't have this signature problem. Also, the apps and code is newer. Always another option.

I'm really digging the on screan messages on the boot screen, like: verifying and securing blackberry os. Very smart, at least you know why you're waiting 2 minutes.
Update: When you perform a security wipe there is a loading animation similar to the booting screen, only in green colour and also with on screen messages. Neet!

You don't read before loading developer builds, that happened. You've been here for 5 months, there's no excuse.

On the home screen, swipe down from the battery icon until that disappears.

Guys,
This is non-destructive upgrade I made from 10.2.1 to 10.3.1.821. It worked and my phone STL-3 is doing well.
1. Download the radio, debrick OS and upgrade OS files from page #1
2. Use Sacheshi 1.9.5 to extract the debrick OS file (qc8960.factory_sfi.desktop-10.3.1.821-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar , 1.8GB). Go to Extract --> Autoloader Tools --> Extract Signed (leave User, OS, Radio checked). You will get a bigger file about 2.8GB (qcfm.image.com.qnx.qcfm.qc8960.factory_sfi.deskto p.BB10_3_1.821.784768.signed).
3. Extract the .bar files from the 2.8GB in step 2. Extract --> Extraction Tools --> Extract Apps. You will get a folder with all the .bar files.
4. Put the radio and the upgrade OS files into the folder containing the .bar files just extracted in step 3.
5. Connect your phone to your PC or Mac (I'm using Mac). Turn on the developer mode on your phone. Shutdown Blackberry Link.
6. Make sure Sacheshi is able to connect to your phone. Use the Install from folder option to install the 10.3.1 update from the folder in step 4.
7. Wait until the update finishes. Phone will auto reboot.

Installed today in 20 minutes (backup from 10.3.0.1418 and installed from autoloader)
It works great


The only problem is that BB Blend is still not working (receiving error below)
