I am able to install now... Sachesi corrected "error-authorisation" authomatically and device memory was recognised, finally after many trials.
Radio and Core OS already installed so there are 199 apps to install. Few apps are taking 45 or more for installing and few took very less time.
The issue is my mobile is getting disconnected in between this process, happened couple of times and delaying the process.
Was able to install about 70 appls last night .. took around 6 hours or more.

Is this the general upgrade process or am I the one having issues ?

Yes. All z30 models use the same autoloader.

Did all that. Soft and hard reset. Nobody else has this issue ? Cuz when I did my stl 100-3 I had no probs at all
I have that issue (i.e., BB Link says setup is incomplete) on my Z10STL-3. It started only yesterday (BTW, my first significant issue after I upgraded to 10.3.1.1151 on 14 Nov).

Running "oobe://" does not resolve the issue for me. My Z10 declares "setup complete." However, BB Link (ver 1.2.4.24) continues to direct me to complete device setup no matter how many times I complete the setup of my Z10.

I would appreciate all suggestions (especially, any that would lead to final resolution of this issue). Thank you in advance. Meanwhile, I will continue to look for answers in the OS 10.3.1.1151 Fixes & Findings and OS 10.3.1.1016 Fixes & Findings threads.

Run browser. Go to oobe:// it will ask you to run initial setup. Run and complete it. In my STL100-1 I have to battery pull for real initial setup to start. Some people did hard reset (hold power button long enough to reset).

Thanks, Kris. I had already done that and it didn't resolve my issue. BB Link v1.2.3.56 (and Sachesi 2.0.0 RC) was working fine with my Z10 10.3.1.1151 since 14 Nov. This issue seems to have spontaneously cropped up for me on the 17th.

BB Link, PC drivers, etc. probably are not the direct cause of the issue. When I connect my Z10, via USB, to my PC, it is BB Device Manager that says my device's setup is incomplete. If I could determine what info BBDevMgr lacks, I might be able to resolve the issue. It's unfortunate for me that more people are not affected by this. Then, the CB brain trust might put more effort into trying to find an answer.

Apparently, RIM revoked access to the .1151 production software on the 17th. It may be a strange coincidence that I started having this issue around the same time frame.

    Howdy folks

How come when I run Sanchesi (even for Passport), the most recent version it shows is 10.3.0.1418 instead of 10.3.1.1151?

    Thanks, ElyHawk

My impression is that the current leak is 10.3.1.1151 but that isn't what Sachesi coughs-up...

That's a interesting problem, and I'm going to assume you've done the obvious hard reset on device,

So that just leaves BBDevMgr either A) not reading the pin properly or B) it's just straight up being stupid.

Another obvious question, but have you tried other use cables/ports? (sorry if it's been asked before, not really reading back through the pages, so trying to eliminate the obvious)

I have reset the device a multitude of times in each of several ways: hold down the power button until reset; hold down power button, then tap reset; hold down both volume keys; pull battery. The "setup complete" state seems to never be achieved.

So that just leaves BBDevMgr either A) not reading the pin properly or B) it's just straight up being stupid.
And/or, C) some failure on the device's side; D) failure in the communication link (i.e., USB cable).

I tried other cables, ports, devices. I do not suspect cables and ports at this time.

You may freely ask any questions. It's a good brainstorming technique.

I think RIM rescinded the links to 10.3.1.1151 about 17 Nov.

Well based on these answers we can eliminate use cables so quite possibly the device software. Possibly try a security wipe or even reload a older OS to see if it's device side

Correct. However, I tried to explain why (my guess) Sachesi no longer shows 10.3.1.1151 being available.

I would like to avoid experimentation with any "destructive" methods on my phone to try to resolve my issue. Hopefully, someone will discover a sure fix. In any case, I think I will wait until the "official" 10.3.1 becomes available and then I will use Link to reset my device to factory settings and load software. Thanks for your interest and help.

First post. Where it says all devices, courtesy of Thurask. There's a bitcasa link that has all autoloaders, including stl100-4. How are people missing this?
