What browser? IIRC, you can get that error with Firefox.

Downloaded 10.3.1.1016 via auto loader to my Z10 - not good enough to be every day OS - after 2+ days battery performance was very poor - main issue for me was no GPS signal - Maps did not work properly, could not give me accurate location or directions - also I did not like that something was constantly running in the background, the location icon appeared next to the battery image. I went back to 10.2.1.3014 - all is well again! 10.3.1 will be a great OS and I enjoyed all the new upgrades but I will wait for the official release.

Interesting, perhaps a model related issue, but my gps and maps were flawless in northern BC earlier this week. Quick results, quick route calculations, and quick on the go re-routing.

Tried autoloaders from Thurask??? It has autoloaders for all devices. Always worked fine for me (Thanks Thurask). Link provided in the first post.

By the way it still works (atleast for me)

Sound issues go to settings
Then notifications
Click or touch normal profile below volume level,
Then make sure sound is enabled there,
Then touch customise notification above the volume level
Then enable sounds in all apps
Remember to save this profile b4 getting out
If this fails reload the software, make sure setting auto start and complete this setup.

After that try calling your number. The ringer should be heard. Then you can do all other settings shown in pictures below. Remember only activated apps will show up in setting

Need help. I messed up my q5 with 10.3.1.XXX using blitz. It doesn't let me install .bar files from blitz. The issue is about the radio file. Now I tried to fix it with this autoloader. Now the problem is when I try to open the autoloader (with admin and without) the autoloader closes instantly. I tried to open it using cmd and the error says "could not connect to blackberry device manager". I updated the usb driver (from bb site), restarted pc and tried it again but the same error. Can someone help me out with this? Thanks.

Passport MEGA

I have a Z10 100-3 AT&T with 10.3.1.1016.

Tomorrow I'm supposed to get a Passport from Amazon, which I assume will come with 10.3.0.xxxx. I've completely backed up my Z10 as of tonight.

So--before I do anything else with the Passport out of the box, if I autoload 10.3.1.1016, should I do a security wipe first of the Passport, or a SIC wipe, or no wipe and just the autoloader?

Some people have noted "flickering" of the screen on the Passport under some circumstances with 10.3.1.1016, the fix for which is said to be to non-destructively (Sachesi) load the 1010 Core OS over the 10.3.1.1016.

The other question, if I restore from the Z10 Backup selectively, do I want to exclude the "BlackBerry Runtime" of 1.5 GB or so from the restore? The BB runtime has been problematic at times in the past, but maybe it contains important data from the Android apps that have been installed. It obvious has more than just the Android Runtime files from the Apps in the OS.
