Can someone please be so kind as to post a link for just the two android runtime files?

If this android runtime its considered a sdk gold version it will be pretty much final for 10.3.

There are a couple of peripheral apps I would like to try because those are the only apps I found not to be working with my BB10 besides the obvious google apps.

Also what are your experiences so far with the. 700 android runtime compared to .296 and. 441?

If this is the "gold" android runtime it's a huge disappointment because they still haven't implemented Bluetooth Media Controls, or got avrcp working correctly.

Push notifications still missing too. So if android apps are reliant on google servers for push notifications I dont think we'll ever get them.

Hopefully amazon and BlackBerry are working on a solution

It seems they've removed their maps component, so maybe Amazon or Nokia will come to the rescue...
But they've added native speech recognition.

Wasnt there a recent article posted by crackberry about yelp being integrated within BlackBerry maps?

Are you saying they may have removed the Maps API v1 support?

That's what I saw, but I don't know of an app which uses it.

We're probably never going to get apps that require Google services.

We could. It's just a matter of BlackBerry replacing all of Google's services with an equivalent. At the very least we could get *some* apps that require select services. I think that is entirely possible.

With this OS does anyone mind loading up the instagram apk and seeing how it works? Are notifications being pushed to the hub now? I read some stuff about better android integration. Could someone post some screen shots!? Please and thank you!

The app loads way faster but no notifications. Most google apps use google push notification services which I think is a part of google play services.

Some apps (like spotify and very few others) use polling which gives us notifications but consume a lot of battery power.

So no love on that yet but im hoping BlackBerry and Amazon will create an equivalent service which will replace google play services soon.
