OK guys, this is is weird, I installed the os, started loading all the bars and everything from appworld, when I was done, I rebotted the phone and when it came back up none of the apps were there and the "applications to the right, messages to the left" wizard appeared again, it's like the phone its not saving anything I install or setup or add...

Things that I have tried:

- Wiping out phone, reload 10.3, same thing

- Downloaded 10.3.0.4* from blackberry, that one worked just fine after rebooting except that it was missing all the standard apps, I loaded them and phone got stuck in the booting screen after doing a restore (no sim, no mc)

- downloaded the. 296 from a different link and installed, same thing happens, that's what I have right now.

Any help is greatly appreciated

So you are saying any OS loads just fine. It is when you add BBW apps? or sideloaded apps? that things don't install?

Im saying that if i reboot the phone right now, when it comes back up its gonna be like i just finished installing the os, its gonna show me the little wizard and its not gonna have anything that i generated (call logs, txt msgs, downloaded apps etc...)

You need to install the sdk from BlackBerry for some of us this happens. Dont know why here's the link https://developer.blackberry.com/bla...a_update.html/

Thank you Al moon, i've tried that already as i explained in my original post, it works fine until i install the missing files from .296. The issue this time is that it gets stuck when i reboot it in the blackberry logo screen... i just read in other posts that this may take up to 3.5 hours so i guess im just gonna wait and see, ill keep u posted!

Extract bar files from 296 i use sachesi after take all those bar files and put them in the 442 sdk you also need to extract the 442 files and install the 2 android bar files into the sdk this has worked for me and calvin just fine you will get 2 files that will give you errors on the 296 files when you put them in the 442. Also make sure your phone is off when doing the autoloader for 442 sdk you may want to wipe right after installation before using the 296 files. I did use the whole 296 OS and extracted it instead of using the link for the 296 files.
