I used the autoloader on my Verizon STL4 and was setting up Dropbox when I noticed this:

    10.3.0.1052 - Dropbox now auto-uploads pictures?-img_20140824_120053.png

Before this, Box was the only app that would upload pictures without a by intervention, but this is great news as I can keep my pictures safe!

Did this show up before and I just didn't notice? I had 10.3.0.296 installed before and didn't notice it there, but maybe it showed up in 442 or 700, though it's there now!

Dropbox has always done that. I feel like it's a ploy to get you to run out of storage space quickly so you can upgrade (purchase) more space.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't like this before. Only "box.com" & "one drive" could do the auto-upload of Pictures and videos. Dropbox wasn't capable of doing it until 10.3.0.1052

Yep just Box, Dropbox didn't have this.

I like having two then only auto pictures go to box and the stuff I really care about goes to Dropbox.

You probably mean for BlackBerry Smartphones. I must have misunderstood. Dropbox has always had that ability on the PlayBook and on other platforms

Dropbox had this on early OS versions. Then they removed it for some reason (?). And now they put it back I guess, good to see it.

I wasn't very clear in my OP, I can see - as of the 10.3.0.296, there was no setting to automatically upload new pictures to your Dropbox, you had to select the pictures and do it manually. I like having my pictures protected in case I lose or damage my phone, so I enjoy the setting!

Glad to see that they implemented/got back this feature. You are absolutely right. Before this OS release there was no options to sync automatically pics and video with Dropbox but only with Box and One drive. Here a pic from 10.2.1.3247.

Dropbox is by far the cloud service that I use the most and this feature was lacking.
