Thanks - thats what I kinda concerned about - too many postings of people going from 10.2.X to 10.3.X and trying to restore simple things and not being able to open the backup file.

I think youll have a similar experience to mine when I went from 10.2.1.3175 (v?) to 10.3.0.140. IIRC my settings was about the only thing I was able to bring in. Just be ready to install your current 10.2.x version and backup should this go south for you. Wont hurt to try!

If you load only core OS + Radio, you'll miss the apps bars....then you'll start to have your problem

Better using autoloader and BBLink to restore backup eventhough I myself never restore apps data and settings from BBLink

This is probably just nitpicking, but I do wish they updated the screen displayed during a security wipe - that thing hasn't changed since 10.0, but the OS' loading circle has changed a few times since then.

Thank you my friend, now jut waiting for the Mega Autoloader to finish its download but there is always the 6+ hrs wait for the File Factory download of the VZW -4 autoloader....

Lastly - with your restore, were you able to restore you Password keeper data, provided that you :
1 - use Password Keeper
2- Saved the backup to your SD card

Sorry to be a PIA, but things have gotten really complicated since the old BBOS days of running an exe, allowing the device to possibly go to a "Error 507" code then running the exe file again and restoring..

Just use the mega link for your Verizon q10. That's what I did and it works just fine
