I note that the actual software version of the reported release (10.2.0.424) is actually the same software that installed with the 10.2.0.1791 leak, so that actually WAS the prod update that we got!

I'm wondering why mine is 1000mb and everyone else is around 460mb!? I haven't installed it yet as I'm not around wifi. That's a big difference!

co-worker on rogers had same thing he did 400 some odd file download and install now its downloading a 1GB file. Who knows

Were you running the 10.1MR release of BB10 before the upgrade? If you were running an older OS, that's the only thing I can think of which could make the update that large.

I'm up and running with the new update, although I haven't done much testing with sideloaded android applications. I've run MPDroid and Flipboard so far and both run very well. The animations in Flipboard are noticeably smoother. XBMC doesn't seem to work anymore (freezes once the menu loads) but I may need to side load it again to get that working again.
