Does anyone know when they will implement the standard unicode Emojis into 10.2 I can't see it anywhere in any of the roadmaps I've seen?

It's already partially built in. Give it time we're still a few months away from official release

Partially built in lol? I've only seen one Emoji that is the same as ones on WhatsApp, iOS and Android so far, the rest are black outlines, boxes and ones being replaced by BBM emoticons lol.

Indeed, I am a bit impatient but the emoji support really should have been implemented at the beginning of its release, all my friends and thousands of other users on their phones use it all the time, kinda alienating the BlackBerry users from seeing but alas hopefully it comes quick

Also with that one Emoji showing the quality of the image is still below par compared to its iOS and Android counterpart.

Take the browser to the Wikipedia page for Emoji, you'll see that a good portion of the Unicode Emoji's have been implemented already. This isn't a final OS however, full support is planned once 10.2 is official.

Yeah so far I can see a bit, but only as black outlines, I wonder when the full colour images will be implemented

They may never all be full colour - Android, for instance, has entirely black-and-white Emoji. BlackBerry 10 may do the same, but we'll have to wait and see before we know for sure.

It's the same as what you see when viewing through an Android phone. Would be nice with colors, though.

Well that's "support" in the roadmap which I think your are referring to, which is this month, and we have seen support already begin. As Kris said the official release is still months off that has not changed.

With the official 10.2 update out and as I have it, these 'standard unicode emojis' are a myth, there are still so many not showing, how appalling, BlackBerry continue to disappoint.
