    Based on 10.1 release:

    10.1 Beta: Feb 5
10.1 Gold: Mar 22 (45 days after beta)
10.1 Dev Beta: Apr 18 (27 days after Gold)
10.1 Released: May 14 ( 26 days after beta, 53 days after Gold, 98 days after beta)

Altogether, it is a cycle of around 100 days. If this schedule is the same for 10.2, this is what we are looking at:

10.2 Beta: June (planned) (est June 18)
10.2 Gold: August (planned) (est August 2)
10.2 Dev Beta: est Aug 29
    10.2 Release: Sept 24

I'm sure that one month from today, someone is going to quote those dates as BBRY given and express disappointment if/when nothing happens.

Please label this SPECULATIVE. Sure, past schedules are a useful guideline, but there's no guarantee whatsoever that 10.2 will run according to exactly the same release schedule.

they did mention at blackberry live that they will be lunching 10.2 at the summer. dont know if they mean the summer vacation or just at the end of the summer. anyways, it looks like your assumption is in the right range.

That's all great, but we are still waiting on 10.1 from our carriers here in the USA.

I have emailed them several times about this and all I get is "nobody knows nothing" so based on what I have seen so far, for us it will be this time in 2014.

I emailed my carrier who gave a "we know nothing" response so I have given up, period. Tired of device restarts and this waiting on the carrier crap while the rest of the world has it and we are the largest market and the ones having the most issues.

What if the leak is no different than the official ? I haven't tried any leaks but that is a good question to ask.

Most leaks end up being the official builds. Very rarely does a leak pop up that doesn't end up being official somewhere. Realistically, most leaks we see are because BlackBerry pushed them out to partners / carriers for testing. Internally, new builds arrive pretty much every day or every second day but we don't see those because they're not / never were slated as being a release candidate and as such, never passed on to partners / carriers.

My projected time line was off by five days for the 10.2 beta sdk release. I would not change any of the other projections based on this small deviance.
