I am running on Verizon with my Q 10. I keep reading in these forums that OS 10.2 will deliver significant changes to the operating system. I search but can't find in these forums what is supposed to come with the new OS. Also, i am confused as to how anybody knows what's going to be in 10.2 and when it will be delivered. Is there a clear post that I have missed in these forums that describe all the aspects of the new OS? In addition, where is this information coming from?

Thanks! I am Somewhat confused as to what the android runtime update will actually bring with respect to benefits to our phones. Will it simply make android-based apps run smoother on our phones?

You got that right.
And gives more apps the ability to run + making us able to run the newer versions of the apps that require any version higher than 2.3.
