I am also running the 10.2 At first i thought maybe I had been just using the phone less, but now a week in I think its true! It seems to make it at least 4 hours more! With LTE enabled, and lots of usage!

So according to the OP my z10 with the 1800 mah battery should last almost 4 days of moderate-heavy use?
On a side note...... Oh hey looks there's the unicorn!!! :p

I'm a heavy user.. for the love if God I can not get even 5 hours out of my phone without the stupid..."20 percent battery life" prompt ... battery life is horrendous

I agree with the above post. I can't pass 5hr mark during heavy usage.

OP, Battery guru screenshot or it isn't real.
My heavy use battery life has been about the same after being on this for able a week. Maybe a tad better but not by much. However, my moderate use days the battery has been SIGNIFICANTLY better. Like by 2.5 or 3 hours more, which I have no problem with.

Here are some of my impresions:
I unplugged around 9:30am yesterday and had good battery by around 2:00pm, only on WiFi and getting messages, no med-heavy usage.
At 2pm I gave my Z10 some med-hig usage, answered emails, browsed the Web, made some phone calls, opened a couple of apps, etc. Still on WiFi.
By end day this was the result before charging it for next day:

Today I'm out on the road and using LTE, browsing the Web, etc. And getting average past Z10 life as displayed ( couple of reboots in the process by the way):

BTW, that 102h mark appears when charging; also, it appears to endure best when using the 750mha charger rather than the 1.8Ah charger.

Like others here, I call shenanigans. It isn't too much worse than the better 10.1 builds, but it is a lot more sensitive (for me) to signal strength. At home (blah coverage), the idling drain is a lot steeper than it is a few blocks away at my GF's or at work (full bars). When using it, it seems to eat battery faster than 10.1 too, but overall it isn't bad.
There is no way I could even approach what OP is claiming. Maybe in airplane mode with all apps closed. Maybe.
I am still on the quest for a really great radio; that's the biggest thing for battery life for a person stuck in a fair to middling signal area on Verizon's LTE network.
Fek I would love to be able to manually switch to 1XEV/3G at will, without going in to the escreens.
"Whyyyy sooo serious?!" so just a month and a half ago you loved it, now your leaving, I'm sadden by you Farouk...
I seriously suspect there's some bug with the battery reporting module which crops up in some phones - I have noticed my Z10 shows very little decrease in the % throughout the day but then shuts down suddenly by evening and only restarts when I put in the charger.
The decrease in battery % is too small during the day - like it goes to 70% by evening usually. If I keep it overnight without charging there's just 1-2% decrease even though lot of new mails etc have come overnight.

The half hour before midnight I wasn't even using the phone. The only thing it could be doing is looking for a network connection. (coverage was bad).
Z10 STL100-2 OS10.2.0.1047
While the battery life is definitely better, I haven't gotten service in my office since using 10.1 leaks and obviously this kills the battery. Hopefully the next 10.2 leak has a stronger signal.
10.2.0.1047 is fully featured
Standby is much, much, better than before, about double that of 10.1; but heavy usage seem to be the same or a bit worst.
Honestly, I think it really has to do with the reception the phone gets. My 4G LTE is really spotty in certain areas so I turn it to 3G during those times. It helps a lot with battery life. Probably the radio file isn't as good? Not too sure, but still bearable. With a connection that does not fluctuate as much, battery life seems more stable and the phone does not heat up as much. However, in spotty areas, the phone can heat up and lose battery faster. Hopefully a better radio file in 10.2.
Before now my phone battery literally dies out at about 50% - 30% and I got me really worried. But, since I got the 10.2 running, it's really been awesome. I was once in an area, I couldn't get to charge and about 10% battery life lasted over an hour, till I got to charge again, even with calls, messaging, and a lot of data usage!
This is crock. I actually have a Z10 with pretty decent battery life from the get go and while 10.2 has improved the battery life where I can go about 16 hours with moderate usage and no charging there is no way in heck that you can deplete only 27% of battery in such a long time span unless the phone is quite literally idling with the screen off for 90% of that time.
Can you download Battery Guru and post a graph of your usage over 24 hours?

I'm on with 2 emails , facebook, whatsapp, 4square, location Enable, 3G full, feel SMS and call.
