Just wondering if there is a way to group contacts and not have them show in the contacts list as well. I am trying to separate my work contacts into a group folder to not have the mixed in with my personal ones.... seems they group but stay in the main list. any workarounds or settings that you know of to accomplish what I want? Tried the private contact apps but if you hide them they don't show in caller display....

You can group them, but I don't think you can hide groups.

Workaround: Create a dummy gmail/outlook.com/yahoo and move all your business contacts there. When you don't need them, hide that account.

You would think we could customize the contact list a bit better. I can set up an account on balance again but I just thought there was an easier way to separate the contacts.... Tks for the ideas!
