I posted my problem in the thread fir bugs and fixes and I got no reply so I thought I should make a separate thread because for me the contacts sync is of high importance.

I upgraded through sachesi non destructively.
Whenever I try to sync I get the following error.

10.2.2 and BlackBerry Link sync problem.-img_20140811_232513.jpg

Any ideas what to do besides security wipe?
Will the debugger method described in other threads be of any help?

    Thanks in advance.

Often times this becomes a problem. I can't say whether this is it or not, because I have not tested 10.2.2 (I'm using 10.3)
What I suggest is to check whether your Link version is the latest (often BB updates Link when they push a new OS)
Otherwise, I suggest saving your contacts on a cloud server, which would have more reliable sync
If you insist on using Link, then you may have no choice but to wipe and start new.
The debugger works on the phone itself, I'm not sure whether it will be able to debug Link. It depends what the exact problem is behind the codes. Regardless, even if you could debug and find out the error, BB doesn't support updating through sachesi, so they won't support whatever problem it is anyways

Sadly, I don't think BlackBerry Link and 10.2.2 play nice. My remote file access can't find my Z30 anymore with 10.2.2. Had 0 problems with 10.2.1 and the 10.3 leaks. Dunno why 10.2.2 is so different

For 10.3 to play nice with link, they had to push a new update
I don't think they pushed an update since the 10.2.2 release, so that's probably why
When 10.3 first came out, you had to extract BB device drivers from the phone to install and get it to work before the pushed the update after a few days

I have a Z10 STL 100-4 from Verizon. What I did to get BB Link to recognize phone:
With BB Link open and phone plugged into USB,
held top power button down until I saw Verizon splash screen, held until phone shut off.
Waited 60 seconds, powered on (still plugged in), after OS was loaded, BB Link finally recognized Z10.
    HTH.

    No problem recognising the phone.

    Anyway thank you all.

    PROBLEM SOLVED:
The problem was in calendar sync.
I performed a one way sync from the pc to the phone with success.
From then on, the two way sync has been successful as well.
