Has anyone else noticed this happening after updating to 10.2.1047? All of my text messages now go out as a group message to the persons original number, and again to their twitter or facebook contact; therefor sending the same person dublicate text messages.

Maybe just unlink your contacts from facebook and Twitter?

Yes, you need to delete your old txt so it doesn't happen again.

Has to do with a bug in the restore process. Happens almost every time I do a restore on my Z10. Just delete the conversation and start a new one. Problem solved!

I went through my contacts and unlinked all from SIM. Then I went to manage SIM contacts through the settings menu in the contacts app and erased all the contacts that had been saved to it with the exception of the factory installed carrier contacts such as (BAL, PMT, Min, Warranty Center, Global Support....I have Verizon). Do a backup through BB Link. After that is complete, unplug your usb and perform a security wipe. After the wipe is done, power up, go through the setup, reconnect to the BB link and restore your backup.
