    Thanks everyone for the input.

    My fix: I went to the Verizon store and they shipped me a new phone. Once I updated the OS (why don't they come that way?!?) I reloaded my backup and all is WAY better. (The BB Facebook app still won't reload -- that was part of the problem before. It says I need to re-login but it won't let me. So I discovered (ta-da) the Andriod option -- and with the amazon app store I now have FB (not linked to the Hub, but that's actually less distracting for me) and I have a bunch of apps that I had always wanted. It would be nice if they were made for BB, but alas, not everything can be perfect in this fallen world.)

    Anyway, thanks again and I'm enjoying your feedback and the other threads as well.
