Whats the real difference between 10.2. and 10.2.1?

Why side load bars from 10.2.1 rather than just loading the whole OS :s?

10.2.1 is too much of a beta version and still has deal-breaking bugs. There are also permanent watermarks of your pin on the screen. By sideloading the updated bars to 10.2.0, you can get the updated apps working on a more stable OS.

Hi all, I'm running .1047 and decided to keep it until an official of 10.2 releases because it's been really stable for me thus far. My only nit pick is that I no longer have dark theme in text messaging, BBM nor contacts. So my question is are these 3 applications dark themed in this leak and if so are there bars for them that I've overlooked. My apologies if I'm being redundant but I didn't see it mentioned here.

*Also my BBM was dark until I downloaded Channels.

I remember when I had 1047 I could sideload sys.pim.calendar.bar and sys.pim.contacts.bar from I think a later 10.2.0 leak for the dark theme (Although only calendar actually stayed dark for me). Search for a thread called "Surprise! DARK THEME Contacts and Calendar are back!" for the answer.
I'm not sure what will happen if you load them from the 10.2.1.641 leak..but if you do, backup first and please report back!
Also, channels will take away the BBM dark theme...known issue.

edit: don't sideload sys.pim.*****anything from 10.2.1 to 10.2.0! it wont work.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I did find the bars for calendar and contacts and like you mentioned only calendar stayed dark. I suppose the only one I'm really interested in is for SMS. Do you know where I can find one for it...I've looked all over the place?

From my understanding text message settings are baked into the OS and 10.2.0.15xx was the first to get it.

I loaded sys.pim.contacts-bar next to some other bars from thurasks 10.2.1 bars (thanx for the great work) to my Z30, running 10.2.0.1791.
Since I did the contacts app does not work anymore. After an uninstall contacs disappeared.
All the other bars I tried worked (camera, maps,....)
Has anyone the original contacts-bar-file from 1791 or an other idea why that happend?

Sys.pim.contacts from 10.2.1 won't work on 10.2.0 let me see if I can find you the 1791...

that would be great....I just found an old version from 1157dev....it works (blood pressure is normal again now :-) ) , but it is old and has no dark theme....

I had to convert the .bar to .zip so I could upload as attachment. just rename the file extention back to .bar and sideload.
