I think they should add a stop all running apps/tasks button and I hope they readd the ability (they probably will...) to select an app and stop it, without opening the app

You can stop a hidden open app with the Device Monitor. Where you looking for a button somewhere else in the system?

Multiple answers to this question indicate that FM Radio is for Z30 and Q30. The Z10 will not be getting FM radio due to hardware differences.

Here are the 10.2.1 bars I have found to work on 10.2.0

sys.browser-10.2.1.63.bar (transparent blue colored address bar while in private mode)
sys.calculator-10.2.1.5.bar (not sure whats different, but it works)
sys.camera-10.200.1.20.bar (face focus)
sys.clock-11.20.1.14.bar (vibrating alarm option)
sys.compass-10.2.1.11.bar (also not sure whats different, but it works)
sys.sysmon-1.0.1.8.bar (shows detailed usage, battery, graphs, etc..of individual apps. Must have!)
sys.weather-10.2.1.9.bar (has an hourly slider that shows hourly weather changes)

sys.android.shell.bar and sys.android.bar is for the unlocked android runtime with removable bar and it works...but there are numerous reports of it having excess runtime reloads and data connection issues

Just download the bar files you wish and sideload.

Note: it is wise to do a backup before you sideload any of these. I have tested them on 10.2.0.1791 STL100-3. Use at your own risk.

i had network issues with the latest unlocked android runtime. could not log into skype or line, etc... error message saying please make sure u r connected to network. had to downgrade.

For now, only some updated apps, but later we'll see some camera improvements, major bug fixes and possibly the introduction of some new security features

I sideload all my Android apps and have zero connectivity issues with the runtime from 10.2.1.641, so could be some problems with older apps in BBW.

Correct. It will overwrite the old one.

In 10.2, you could hold the running app and an option from the side would allow you to quickly close that app. Now you have to open it, and then select stop.

And I also want a button to stop all running apps in one click (to save battery)

Chances are very good, however be safe and do a full backup first. Also have the 10.2.0.1047 versions of the bars incase you need to revert back.

Good to hear the bars in OP worked. I suggest you consider upgrading to 1791 to fix language bugs. You could try loading a language bar, but the problem may be in the OS.

The sysmon needs work.

I am not able to stop processes such as Text Messages which lags when it feels like it, causing me to end it.

Great stuff on the data monitor though, we need that.

I don't know why when I sideloaded some of 10.2.1.6xx apps ( camera, browser, clock, sys.sysmon and weather) on 10.2.0.1791 I had the blackberry protect always off can't turn it on!! Even after many reboot

Love the new device monitor.
Only have a few glitches with the graphs as you can see in the attached pic. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

yeah i got that at first but no need to worry too much, just close the system monitor, leave it for a few minutes and check it back on. should be back to normal.

Thanks Thurask, I just downloaded and set the wall paper to Full Black and find it smashing. The grey behind the icons vanishes and the display looks cleaner.
In case you find any other bars working well on the 1791, please do let me know. Have found the ones you suggested working very well so far, including the unlocked runtime from the 641.
