    Hi everyone,

First off, I would like to say if you haven't loaded 10.2.1, you should A$AP. It feels like a completely new device, as I was having little glitches and frustrations running 10.1. You won't be disappointed. Included in 10.2.1, is an am/ FM radio in the music app. However, when I go to use it, it says I need to insert head phones as the headphones work as an attena. Does anyone know of a pair of headphones that will do this? I'm currently using some original Dre Studio Beats ( over ear ones), and they don't seem to work. Also, t mobile q10s did not come with head phones so that maybe what I'm missing. Can anyone suggest a pair?

    Thanks!

Shouldn't any regular pair of earbuds work?

I have these, but I don't think they're anything particularly special: JVC Canada

Guys the apps just uses the copper of the headphone to grab more signal just like those T antennas you would get included with your stereo tuner, all portable radios use something like this to grab a stronger signal

Any wired earphones will work nothing special required

Unfortunately us the Z10s, we will never get it.
On my wife's Q5, did not work in the beginning.
Now that the OS has settled it works like a charm with a pair of regular earphones.

The "app" included in 10.2.1 only provides FM broadcast radio station receive capability...not AM.

Any pair of working "wired" headphones will provide the antenna to provide FM reception.

Yes, you can actually listen to the radio on the speaker as long as headphones are plugged in! So conceivable you could make an antenna from an old pair of phones by cutting off the earbud part.

You don't need headphones. Just plug in a 3.5mm jumper cable in and listen through the speakers. Simples!
