Ok, maybe a dumb question. Trying to update my Z30 with Sachesi. The Z30 radio file contains a .signed file, not a .bar. How do I install it with Sachesi?

Yes you can load radio only.

I am personally considering running 3247 with the new radio. How do you guys find the 3182 radio compared to the previous one? I have been running 10.3.0.296 for weeks, so I have gotten used to the radio dropping cell and Wi-Fi constantly. Maybe I will downgrade until something new and stable leaks for 10.3

Actually, that was meant for "schiri" who seems to have lost his/her Password Keeper data, but it's all good.

Gee, only 4 for you? My Password Keeper backup file is bloated with over 75 password - couldn't remember ANY of them with out it!!

It is a .bar file. You may not be able to see the file extension in Windows, but it is a bar, change the extension back to' signed' and this should woek

Not working with Sachesi 1.2.1 in Windows 8.1. When I click on .Bars to install, it only allows "bar" files to be selected and no .signed files show up. If I rename to .bar and open, Sachesi crashes. Am I the only one with this issue?

Z10 - all that QNX-powered speed, plus LTE... and then there's this. Whomever signed off on the bus speed apparently doesn't do much in the way of file transfer. Oh well, there's always the next device.



(Relevance to thread is I'm waiting on backup to complete so I can wipe and run the autoloader.)

Sure, and this assumes you have Sachesi.
1. Download the radio file you need from post#1
2. Plug your device into the computer via USB port
3.Open Sachesi
4.. click INSTALL tab upper right of the Sachesi screen
Sachesi will identify your device and open a window for you to select the radio file you downloaded.
5. Select the downloaded radio file
6. Install
7. Bobs your uncle!

I have tried updating my current os 10.2.1.2941 to latest os 10.2.1.2977 several times through BlackBerry link, OTA and through wifi also. After downloading full update of 282 mb it gave error after 60% installation (installation interrupted).

I tried through sacheshi also, but during installation of core os it showed following error -
Error : failure 500 Error -3 while decompressing : invalid literal/lengths set

What should I do now???

Model is STL100-1.

Someone please help. It has become damn irritating now. Please help

Take a deep breath...make a backup on Link.

Go to PAGE ONE and grab the Z10STL100-1 link for the autloader.

Run autoloader

Once device is up and running, restore.

???

OK, the zip files in the first post in the BAR section ARE the bar files! They do not need to be extracted! Simply rename ZIP to BAR and install with Sachesi. Sure would have saved a few hours of aggravation if they had the BAR extension to begin with.

Credit goes to a Vietnamese BlackBerry site that had the same files labeled correctly.

This morning I install this OS (debrick) + radio through Sachesi, I just wanna say : it is very very very good, especially the radio, very fast.

Battery life, I guess good also, not sure about it yet.

Recommended....

I only have a problem loading one bar file. I get this output from sachesi.

While sending: sys.dxtg.launcher.bar
