Hey I want to go back to official OS (10.2.1), but I am on 10.3 leak currently and have a backup file I want to restore. Can 10.3 backups be restored on top of the 10.2.1? I really only care about my application backup!

No you cannot backtrack on backups. However I think if you use DarcysBBTools you can change the backup file to match the version for 10.2.1, not sure about this tbh someone with more knowledge will have to come to light with that...

If you're up to date on BlackBerry Link desktop software you should be able to restore media and most application data, but not system settings, when downgrading 10.3 to 10.2.1. I had to skip restoring the Android runtime to get it to work.

Was on 10.3 hybrid. On Q 10.
Downgraded to this OS 10.2.1.3253.
Multi Swiped then used autoloader.
Restored only media and apps.
Android Runtime doesn't boot.
Snap Android Apps don't install.

Any advice.

Is this Android apps not working thing epidemic? I think I have read 2 or 3 posts on this. How many others are having this issue? Is this just reinstalls with Snap or from Backup? Just to help clear the air on this for people because of course this would be a HUGE "run away, run away" event.. If someone has had this and you know how or what to do to fix it by all means let's hear from you...

Don't know haven't got that problem wish they released snap for android so I wouldn't have to sideload it as a bar file everytime I do a restore. Otherwise things are fine

I confirm. The radio in this OS is much better than 3140. My internet speeds are boosted up now. Also, phone switches from 2G to 3G and vice versa much quicker. And finally, the sound of the voice during the phone call seems to be crisper and louder. Hope, it's not just my imagination playing tricks on me. )))))

OK thanks for the info. How do you skip restoring the android runtime? I have an application backup and all I can do is click that and say restore. How do you choose that?

I guess its your imagination... lol

Actually the phone call clarity was already good.. all I could notice is that the battery drain during phone calls or using wifi was slightly better... if not great... that's causing people to experience better battery life on their phones!

Autocad 360
Tango
Plangrid
Snap
Torque (OBDII reader).

I am running on a Verizon Z10 STL-4.

I loaded the OS + RADIO with the autoloader Thusark posted on page 1 and did a full restore with link after the install proces. All my android apps running fine .
I install snap, porche clock, and camera with face focus with Sachesi . Also no problems with these Bars.
