Hello everyone, I searched around, and couldn't find this issue anywhere on the site so I was wondering if anyone had run into this or could suggest a fix. I'm running 10.2.1.1925 on the Z10.

I copied music from my computer to the memory card of the phone via the mapped drive (I don't use link to sync as I have issues with microsoft media player). After copying all music to my phone I noticed that none of the text in the phone's media player is in English. I have a screen shot. It looks like all the album data is correct, from what I can tell it looks like all of that is correct, it's just the display language.

What happens when you text? There are Language options in the settings menu and I messed mine up once so I had to figure out where it changed. I would suggest just checking this in settings and make sure you don't have a second language activated somehow.

Odd this is because the media and photo apps on BB10 are the LEAST customizable.....lol

I double checked all of the language settings, etc..and yes, there are next to no settings in the media player, i wish they did add some such, but I figured out the problem and maybe it's related to the BB OS, maybe not...it's still odd, but I figured it out after importing some other music. It seems that the text issue only comes from some CDs that I had ripped today and imported. All other music looks good and shows the correct language. Now, I say this may or may not be a BB issue, because when I look at the ID3 information from those CDs I ripped, it's obviously in English...so I'm not sure, but at least I figured out the cause of the problem.

I have one album that has been like that on .1925, .1055 as well as several 10.2.0.xxxx loads. Didn't have 1259 loaded long enough to check there. The tags look correct on a Win7 pc and I've tried retyping them to no avail. At this point I'm assuming there is a language flag somewhere that I'm missing.

I've been able to fix my issue. While Win7, Winamp and VLC all saw the mp3 tags as correct, I was able to edit the meta data with Audacity. Now my Z10 sees them normally.
