I'm no longer able to set two different wallpapers (regular and lock screen) using the Parental Controls "trick". Has anyone else successfully done it in this leak?

Also, clicking on Setttings | Display | Select Wallpaper doesn't work anything more. I click on "Select Wallpaper" and nothing happens (I can change wallpaper by going to the desired picture and setting that as the Wallpaper. Anyone else finding that to the be the case too?

Thanks in advance... hopefully this wasn't brought up before (I did do a search).

I forget how to do that trick, so I can't check that, but select wallpaper works just fine for me

That wasn't what I was looking for... I didn't have to use the picture password before to get a different lock screen wallpaper displayed. I tried the picture password and didn't care for it.

That's a shame... Not really a glitch... they should have packaged it as a "feature"!

I think my problem was that I restored settings when I installed 10.2.1.1925

Last night I did a security wipe, reinstalled 10.2.1.1925 and restored everything BUT settings... and it's working now (though Wallpaper Changer HD... but, i would assume it would work the "old fashioned" way too)

Someone, we can be pleased that this bug is closed. Now, if someone at BlackBerry notices a need (and I believe there is, including me) for this feature, then they can implement it properly.

They should also implement a live/animated wallpaper feature while they are at it. It's a nice way to grab attention. One step further would be different wallpapers (again customizable) for different notifications. So for example, if I get a work email; only then will a specific, pre-defined wallpaper show up. You know a mix of customizable LED and wallpaper changer.

I have the same or kind off different problem. I have the "Rak Theme" free wall paper and while it does have some nice wallpapers, I do believe it has messed with my permission to change wallpaper to other/non Rak Theme pictures.

For example, I can go into Rak Them (and this is on BB World, BTW) and choose a picture and set it as my wallpaper. However, when I go into settings>display>select wallpaper, I get the normal selection that is loaded within the "device/protected_media/wallpaper" area. I know, this folder is "read-only" BUT even if I select a picture from the protected media area, the wall paper does not change. In addition, I cannot change the permission even with Ghost Commander. AND on top of all this, I have numerous pictures which I would like to swap back and forth for my wall paper that are located on my Media Card, but I cannot copy or move them to the Protected Media/Wallpaper area anyway.

When going into the main "Pictures" icon to view my pics, I do have the option of "set as" however the only options to set as are Contact Picture or BBM Picture or LinkedIN.

Its kinda frustrating.....

UPDATED - I decided to try something different, I connected my Z10 to my laptop, and after doing my normal 4 custom back ups (yes, I am seriously OCD about that) I went into my Windows explorer just to see if I might be able to change thee security settings on that "protected" folder. Not only could I not change them, the folder didn't even show up at all and yes, I looked in both drives, the device and just for giggles, the SD card.

My head is going to explode....

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

I am using this "glitch" on 10.2.1.2141

Wish BlackBerry would offer customisation.. Wouldn't be difficult to add a few things here or there and it would probably make make happy and attract new users.

Also they could monetize with theme sales..

It worked for me with .1925 and it still works on the latest that I loaded last night.
