    They say you have to security wipe after you've installed the OS. But I didn't. do you have to do this step? My phone works fine, but just can't get some games to work? Could this be the problem?

    Not necessary. Are they side loaded or apk games? Some are unstable.

    It's an optional step. It ensures the OS is complete and has no remains of the previous OS
