Anyone else notice that the UI seems a little more sluggish with 10.1? Especially if I have a few apps open and I'm swiping in and out of the hub and the other app trays.

It's a lot more jittery than before. Also quite noticeable when closing apps and the active frames rearrange themselves.

It's almost like using an Android tablet/phone with all the jitteriness.

I guess they tuned the processor speed more tightly to save the battery.

I just updated and have been putting my Z10 through its paces and haven't noticed any lag. In fact I noticed the speed improved. I would try doing a couple of restarts and if that doesn't work than you should back up and reload the OS.

Flipping between app tray #1 and #2 (christ I wish they kept named tabs) is fine but swiping between the active tile grid and app tray #1 or the hub is jittery and sluggish. Minimizing apps is sluggish too. Did a couple of reboots already.

Swiping up to close folders is jittery too.

Oh well, 10.2 is just around the corner, right> :/

I noticed this with the last leak. The settings menu was super bad. I'm curious if that's still the case with the official release. After a few days it got better but still isn't like it was before.

Hmmm... May stick with 10.0 if this is the case. I love the speed switching between the Active Frames...

Will wait until I see a review of 10.1 before upgrading. May wait until the second or third official update to 10.1.

Apps load faster too, scrolling in the browser is also faster. I ran geek bench 2 and the score is up 200 points from 10.0

i noticed the lag. If i have a few apps, it tends to lag when i minimize BeWeather.

I did not install any leaks. Just got 10.1 this morning from Telus. It was a bit choppy at first but things have mostly smoothed out since then. There is a noticeable lag though when swiping from the all apps drawer to the active frames. It starts smooth, then hits a little snag before finishing the transition smoothly. Certainly not a big deal, but it is definitely there on my Z10.

I noticed this at first, but I think its because the new OS was settling in and refreshing all the info. Even my Hub took almost 10 minutes to reset. Been playing with it for almost 2 hours now and it seems to have settled in and is running smooth as butter

That settles it. Sticking it out with 10.0. I can't tolerate lag (I'm a bit neurotic that way)

This is what it's done on mine too. Smoothed out a bit but still a bit of lag/jitteriness.

i installed the official os 10.1.0.273 last nite an my phone became very sluggish, moving from the hub to running apps, opening and closing apps are horrible, this was never the case with my older os, how can i fix this?

There's a tincy wincy bit of sluggishness. I can deal with that. But it is now sucking up battery like crazy!

I used to get 8 hours, now I'm left with 4!
