I would go for a calibration issue. OS on your BB thinks that by now, judging by the previous experience, your battery should be empty, but it apparently still has some juice in it and your phone is still able to run.

Don't be too happy about it. Had happened to me once too. And then started a series of shutdown at random battery levels and never went away. Calibration issue.

Agree with the calibration issue. It happened to me on Z10 STL100-1 on OS 10.2.1.1259 a few months back. It's still working on 0% battery for 3 hours..

This started happening to me since updating to 10.2.1 on the Z. It can hit 0% and stay like that for ages. This was never the case on 10.2 or earlier. It would hit 0% and turn off immediately.

Battery life still sucks though! Getting me either the 30 or the Q for heavy use.

Stl100-1 problem that occurs after a device wipe
I don't have an stl100-1 so im going of memory not experience..

Pull the battery for 10 minutes and that should fix the calibration
    .. I think
