Why do my games not run any more? I have downloaded some games and they ran at some point but none will now. I've not updated the OS other then the one my carrier put out but I can download a new game and it doesn't even open. Also noticed it I close it out when I go to it's icon it is greyed out for a short time and then is full color. Is there a fix or is it just blackberry messed up until maybe some day down the road?

jetpack joyride, jetpack high, fly kiwi fly, pewpew,warships, throwtheknife, pinball classic,spinballs special, fly cargo mobile LT, beach buggy blitz opens to like a welcome screen but locks up there. I have a police scanner app that opens but doesn't play any more, use to work fine, angry birds star wars also opens but is stuck on lock screen until it times out and closes itself. Maybe more but I don't want to keep trying them. Reboots don't help

Did a battery pull. Most still don't run. Jet pack ran and played it, closed it out and it would not run again. Same with the scanner app, ran once but once closed it would not run again

try a security wipe, without a backup. Then restore as a fresh device. Then go to app world-my world-available and redownload the ones you want

Not sure I want to. With the trouble I had getting all my contacts to transfer from my 9900 and all my calender events would be gone.

Can't you backup without backing up your apps?
There's also an app in AppWorld called inTouch, you might find it useful to backup and restore your contacts.

Also since you have a 9900, you could have transferred your contacts via the device switch.

I would think something with the carrier update, made the OS a bit gremlinish, security wipe should resolve it

It might be a setting for caused the problem.

Took 3 times with the 9900 to get the contacts to show up when I did the switch and still didn't get everything. I've not changed any setting so I would think the update did it

The official AT&T update has a game audio bug that pretty much makes all the games unplayable. The audio goes out during a game and afterwards none will launch until a reboot.

I had to upgrade to 10.1 to fix it.
