Modern Combat 5: Blackout - BlackBerry World
And available for all BB10 devices to boot:
Supported Devices
BlackBerry Classic
BlackBerry Passport
BlackBerry Q10
BlackBerry Q5
BlackBerry Z10
BlackBerry Z3
BlackBerry Z30
Porsche Design P9982
Porsche Design P9983
Love it, just bought it, glad it also supports the square devices.
10.3 and up only apparently. If you're on anything less than, it won't appear as available.
Awesome to see Gameloft Bb10 support.
Z30 (10.3.1)
Agreed! Pleasantly surprised they released Spider-Man Unlimited and now MC5 on BB10.

Good news!
Anyone have any luck having a multiplayer match?
I made a squad that is allegedly open to anyone

I bought the android version not long ago and find it performs very well on my Z30. Paged for the native one just after my post and find it to run very very little better than the android one. I doubt much people will buy it which limits the multiplayer mode massively. If the multiplayer is a big deal, which it is for me, then I suggest just using the android one

Anyone had any luck got a controller to work with this?
Not afaik

Am I the only one who's getting super annoyed by the fact you need Internet to play?? There goes playing it on the train (data consumption are crazy)
Posted via CB10
Not sure on MC5, but on Spider-Man Unlimited you need data because it's logging achievements & progress, including saving game progress if you've signed in with Facebook.
You won't be annoyed anymore if you progress far and then lose your phone, need to re-install game for some reason, etc. In those scenarios, you'll be very thankful the game progress is constantly syncing.
I see what you mean too though. In the Spidey game, you can play part of it off-line. Can't you play the storyline missions in MC5 without data too. Maybe switch to Airplane Mode and check it out. Not ideal to have to turn off the data for everything else too, but it might still be a viable workaround.
Last idea: As it's a native BB10 game, you can edit the Permissions. Is there a Permission that would stop it from having online access?
Hey neighbour, you're only playing against other BB10 players. It just came out and costs $7, so you might have to give it a bit more time.
Can you search for other players with a name or code or anything? If you can, maybe start a new thread to share MC5 multiplayer codes.
I don't think permission trick will work. I tried to turn off Internet while playing the game and it said "could not connect to server" and wouldn't let me play until I reconnect.
And I understand what you said but honestly, I'd rather save battery life and data than worry about my progress.
Also, I found the game very laggy although that might be because I was using data.

To experiment, try closing the game then turning the BB onto Airplane Mode. Open game again and see if there's any parts that will work. How about the story missions? Or is there an Unlimited Mode section like on some other games?
If neither of those applies, I'll stop wasting your time!
Everytime you open the game, it downloads a bunch of stuff. If you don't have wifi, it'll tell you to connect to wifi. It does not let you past this section if you don't have Internet. And if you finish downloading this stuff and then turn off Internet, it'll say to reconnect to the server

I can't play it after the first two missions. I'm stuck where it's explaining about how to use the ''elite package''. I can't go anywhere from there. I tried un installing the game and downloading it again, however it only brings me to this same dead end. Smh

It's currently .99 on Google play (Snap). But not in BlackBerry World. I guess I'm going to get the android version.

Stuck after the first 2 missions, I've decided to request a refund :(
Posted via CB10
I requested a refund but they will not give it me

You have to swipe both arrows to get the elite package. It's a tutorial pretty much until I think after that point.

I'm at the Ambush level currently but it's hard to pass which is good but the game can lag (Z10/10.3 leak) and the game doesn't support bluetooth to my knowledge. Also why does it need so many permissions?
Posted via CB10
Those are the 3 problems i have with this game;
1. Lag (partially because of the wifi)
2. No bluetooth controllers
3. Permissions
nobody has posted it in here so I will.
MC5 has had a price drop to $1.99 and I am in canada
