Has anyone successfully connected a PS3 or Xbox 360 controller to their BB10 phone?

I did some testing last night, read through many tutorials and tried many tools, but none of them work.

I installed Sixaxis Controller from Google Play (Paid App btw), app runs fine, except that it won't start the Bluetooth connection because an error states my Z30 isn't rooted. Overall I think the app just isn't compatible, as when I ran the Sixaxis Compatibility Checker, it wouldn't find my Bluetooth address either. The app does switch the bluetooth on and off, so I assume the Bluetooth support from Android apps is working just fine. I'm running 10.2.1.1925 btw. I tried the Motioninjoy application on my PC, successfully set the bluetooth address for my PS3 remote, but still no dice. My Z30 doesn't even recognize the PS3 remote.

I'm aware of the controllers which do work, they're all third party and specifically Bluetooth. See here Gamepad support - BlackBerry Native

My last resort will be to try via USB OTG. But has anyone successfully connected their PS3 or Xbox 360 remote to their phone? If so, how did you do it?

I haven't tried what you are trying :(. but you should get a controller built for phones like the Moga. I've ordered mine and I heard good comments

Well its pretty awesome. I found out my Power A gamepad/remote works via USB OTG when connected to my Z30. Heres a vid I made too.

I found out from BlackBerry that Critical Wave, QR Invaders, and Shadowgun all support Gamepads.

Just for the record, the PS3 controller isn't supported.

I would be shocked if the xBox pad works without some sort of powered hub. I think it should work though, I've seen it work on Android USB OTG before.

360 controller works with a USB OTG adapter.

You have to use the Windows Wireless Dongle to get the Xbox 360 controller to work. As a matter of fact, it would be exactly like the remote in my video. The USB OTG cable, with the Windows Wireless 360 Dongle attached.

Trust me guys get a Moga Pro controller it was made for the Z10 just like using an xbox controller but bluetooth with great battery life

The DS4 pad pairs with the phone, but does nothing but run down the phone and the controller's respective batteries. Or makes the Dualshock 4 into a low-power flashlight.

Have any new devices been added since the shift to 10.3.2?

Xbox one should be much easier
